<span>Not even the rains from Typhoon Nona can dampen the ardor of the faithful who braved heavy rains to take part in the traditional "Misa de Gallo," a series of nine dawn Masses that lead up to Christmas Day. Festive Christmas lanterns light up the dark skies over St. Joseph Parish Church in Las Pinas City, as if to ward off the gloom brought about by typhoon.  </span>
